A heated altercation unfolded between BBNaija All-Stars housemates Pere and Adekunle, escalating from the tensions brewing around their preparation for the upcoming wager task, which involved scripting, directing, and filming a movie collaboratively.
The clash centred on differing opinions about the movie’s direction and Pere’s approach as one of the directors.
Pere, along with Ceec and Seyi, was appointed as a director for the movie project. During the shooting, Pere began to give vocal and assertive directions to the housemates, attempting to elicit the desired performances.
However, his continuous yelling in the process irked Adekunle, leading to an explosive confrontation.
Adekunle voiced his frustrations, insisting that Pere should exhibit emotional intelligence and avoid berating fellow housemates while directing.
With mounting annoyance, Adekunle exclaimed, “We’ve been shooting since and nothing is happening. Fvck!! You’ve made me raise my voice and I don’t usually like to! Stop yelling at housemates, have emotional intelligence!”
Pere reacted to Adekunle’s remarks with disregard, responding by angrily shouting “sit down” repeatedly and insisting that Adekunle should either comply or leave the set. This exchange of heated words and conflicting directives sparked a volatile situation.
In an attempt to de-escalate the conflict, Seyi intervened by restraining Adekunle, hoping to prevent further escalation.
However, Adekunle’s frustration remained palpable as he asserted his right to express himself within the context of the Big Brother house. He defiantly responded, “I will not, this is Big Brother’s house. Fvck you!” The confrontation took an even more confrontational turn as Pere resorted to insulting Adekunle in response.
